Friendly and welcoming restaurant Another excellent meal and atmosphere. Very friendly staff and management we visited on a Saturday 18th Nov, and it was lovely to see the place so busy with staff working as a team and providing excellent service. Cannot praise this restaurant highly enough, the food was cooked to perfection with excellent attention to detail on serving. It was lovely to see so many people enjoying the ambiance. Will definitely make this my preferred place to take my friends when looking for fine dining. They also provided a good selection of gluten free and dairy free options for my guests

First time at The Bull, won't be the last! Traditional, classic is what hits you when you walk in and your first sight of the beautiful menu. The range of dishes and favs you have not seen for years just makes you smile! You can sit in the bar area or in the restaurant, restaurant for us. Glad we did as the staff could not have been more attentive and pleasant. They could not do enough and they were certainly on the ball. Now the food. It took us so long to choose. Every time a dish came out of the kitchen we changed our minds!! The wine selection was good and had something for every wallet size. So the food we had, three courses for lunch please!!! Beautiful sardines, grilled to perfection and the taste was fantastic. A seafood crepe was bursting with fresh fish and prawn. Beef Wellington to follow. That was amazing, cooked perfectly and tasted out of this world. A short rest after that and then the desert trolly rolled up. This was torture, you just wanted everything on show. Home made and sooooo good. Lemon Meringue Pie and an Ape Strudel and lashings if chilled fresh cream. What is not to love, and we loved every minute at The Bull.

A really interesting place, it's a French place and if you have wandered off the street you might wander where you are. In saying that, the staff are all really lovely and helpful. The food was quite tasty, the meat was cooked nicely and well seasoned. The bernaise sauce went nicely with the steaks as well. The veges were quite plain, however the cheesy sauce that it came with helped. The overall atmosphere of the place feels quite classy.
